Start Date

End Date

Learn how to develop springs into potential sites for small ponds through the identification of indicator species of plants and animals as well as lay of the land and other techniques. We will show you how to identify springs and then how to improve them by helping them flow better, run clearer and be more accessible for multiple appropriate human uses like:

  • Ponds

  • Watering animals

  • Gardening needs

  • Showers

  • Pure enjoyment and beauty

  • Back up drinking water.

Here on our land we have a wide diversity of springs to look at and to work with directly. Come prepared to dig and get muddy!
